M System

In the M System the devices have been equipped with a built-in voltage regulator, installed in the place for a traditional junction box. The very short cable connection (controller – Engine) guarantees the reliability of this solution. It is also worth mentioning that the 0 – 10V signal is sufficient to control the fan. Thanks to the AUTO function of the VNT20 or VNTLCD controller, it gives the possibility to automatically adjust the rotational speed of the fan according to the temperature difference: the temperature measured and set at the controlling unit. This solution allows the control of 10 devices maximum by use of 1 controlling unit only. There is a possibility to integrate the control to form the BMS system or any integration with other devices.

SELECTION

 Choose an “M" version device of the LEO family
  • Select the amount of devices that is appropriate for the heating of the building
  • Additionally, choose the appropriate amount of mounting consoles for heater mounting at various angles (LEO FS has the console included)
Choose CONTROLS

 Choose an appropriate 0-10V controller for each zone – one controller for a maximum of 10 devices
  • VNT20 and VNTLCD controllers – can operate in CONTROL mode (the efficiency of the device depends on the room temperature and tasks) or in MANUAL mode (manual efficiency setting)
  • The VNTLCD controller has an additional built-in programmable weekly calendar and an antifreeze function 
Choose an additional R10 regulator for each controller that operates more than 1 device
  • This facilitates signal distribution and arranges wires
Choose the temperature sensor (if air temperature will be measured in a place different than the controller)
  • You can connect 1 or 4 PT1000 sensors to one controller
  • PT1000 IN – temperature sensors of IP20 protection degree
  • PT1000 OUT – temperature sensors of IP65 protection degree
We would try to choose an appropriate amount of valves that control the heating medium flow
  • In Auto mode there is no need to use servo-motor valves - the boiler controls the medium flow on its own
  • SRV2d / SRS – cuts off the heating medium flow to the heater or to the whole zone
  • SRV3d – cuts off the heating medium flow to the heater or to the whole zone simultaneously redirecting it to the return pipe

VNT20

0-10 V Controller with a built-in interior thermostat
A fan rotational speed controller cooperating with an “M” version device allows fan efficiency adjustment ranging from 0 up to 100%. An option of functioning in two modes: AUTO and MANUAL. “AUTO” mode allows automatic adjustment of the rotational speed of the fan depending on the temperature set and the temperature measured at the controller. In "MANUAL” mode the fan speed is adjusted manually with an option of CONTINUOUS work (the fan operates at a constant speed regardless of the thermostat) or THERMOSTATIC (the thermostat switches off the valve and fan). One controller controls the operation of 10 devices by use of an additional signal distributor R - 10. You can connect an external temperature sensor PT - 1000.

VNTLCD

0-10 V Controller with a built-in interior thermostat and weekly programmer
A fan rotational speed controller cooperating with an “M” version device allows fan efficiency adjustment ranging from 0 up to 100%. It has a built-in thermostat with a programmable weekly calendar. The Controller can function in two modes: AUTO and MANUAL. “AUTO” mode allows the automatic adjustment of the rotational speed of the fan depending on the temperature given and this measured at the control. In "MANUAL” mode the fan speed is adjusted manually with an option of CONTINUOUS work (the fan operates at a constant speed regardless of the thermostat) or THERMOSTATIC (the thermostat switches off the valve and fan). In addition, it has been equipped with an antifreeze function securing the interior against temperature fall below tp = 10°C. The fan of the device switches on automatically and the valve servo-motor opens, until the interior temperature reaches tp = 12°C. After reaching this value, the fan will switch off and the valve will be closed. One controller controls the operation of 10 devices by use of an additional R – 10 signal distributor. You can connect an external PT – 1000 temperature sensor.

An external PT - 1000 temperature sensor is available in two versions: with protection degree of IP20 or IP65. Its application allows:
• Temperature measurement elsewhere from where the thermostat is installed
• Use of 4 sensors – providing average temperature readings of the whole interior
• Device operation to be dependent on external conditions

An ON/OFF valve with a thermo-electric servo-motor, mounted at the point of water return from the heat exchanger. Allows the heating medium flow that feeds the heater to be cut off and simultaneously redirects the hot water stream directly to the medium return pipe.
