ROLE MODEL 2006

LEO Plastic device was qualified to a final round of the competition “Role Model 2006” organized by the Institute of Industrial Design. The Role Model is a symbol granted annually by IID to the products characterized by a high design quality level. After the 1st stage of the Competition Final IID experts qualified 48 Polish and foreign products. These are the best-designed products on the Polish market which scored the most points for aesthetic, usefulness and extra values, prepared for each competition category.
The finalists competed for main awards granted in three categories: Home Zone, Public Zone and Work Zone. In the latter, our LEO Plastic heating unit was selected among seven finalists and the winner was the airplane EM – 11 C ORKA.
We would also like to inform that the award in Public Zone (a design of rail bus) and the most prestigious title of the Designer of the Year was awarded to Marek Adamczewski who will be among the lecturers during a conference organized by FLOWAIR , 10th May.
