Are plastics ecological?

Let’s not fear plastic! The fact that plastic is not biodegradable is its very advantage!

Goods made of plastic require very little energy to produce. The raw materials are not depleting the natural resources such as forests and at the end of the products life cycle we can recycle them (using very little energy) 


For instance, some elements of products in the LEO range are made of plastic. Due to the recycling process we can reuse those components. The components are processed and we obtain granulated plastic which then is used again for production of plastic parts. As we can see, recycling let’s us limit the use of natural resources and limit waste!
