KM Controller

 For LEO KM mixing chambers there is one automation system KTS. It is used as separate power, control and security system for one water heater cooperating with the mixing chamber.
The system allow for:
• cooperation with a roof exhaust fan. Its performance is automatically adjusted and is dependent on the efficiency of the LEO heater as well as on the extent to which the mixing chamber is open;
• anti-frost protection of the air heater’s heat exchanger;
• connecting the valve and the room thermostat, so that it is possible to keep the temperature in the room at a pre-set level;
• connecting the pressure switch, which controls the level of soiling the filters of the mixing chamber;
• MASTER – SLAVE work functions, thus allowing to work in a cascade of up to 9 configurations in the SLAVE mode, controlled from one system set to MASTER;
• cooperation with BUFFER. This option allows for controlling up to 5 devices by means of the KTE control cabinet

Power supply -controlling cubicle 
All the automatic elements are connected to the KTE power supply – controlling cubicle: The antifreeze thermostat, throttling valve servo-motor, interior thermostat (optional), the medium cut-off valve servo-motor (optional). Also the LEO air heater and roof-fan is connected to it, making its operation dependable on the heating apparatus and mixing chamber opening operation.

Double position throttling valve servo-motor with return spring
This closes or opens the air throttling valve of the LEO KAM mixing chamber. It is connected to the power supply - controlling cubicle. THE SP ON/OFF servo-motor is mounted on the LEO KM mixing chamber mandrel

Antifreeze thermostat with a capillary
It secures the heat exchange against freezing. The thermostat is mounted on the side wall of the chamber, whereas the capillary must be placed on the outer surface of the exchanger. The thermostat is connected to the power supply - controlling cubicle and its operation results in immediate closure of the fresh air throttling valve and simultaneous opening of the valve servo-motor (if connected) in order to supply the heating medium.

The Power supply –Controlling and Safeguarding set is meant for the mixing chamber cooperating with the LEO FB and LEO FS water heater. The set includes: power supply-controlling cubicle, antifreeze thermostat and ON/OFF servo-motor for the opening angle of the throttling valve. One of the important functions of this system is the possibility of a balance between the fresh air supply with air being removed, depending on the change of the heater efficiency, as well as the mixing chamber throttling valve opening level.

Power supply - controlling cubicle
All the automatic elements are connected to the power supply – controlling cubicle: The antifreeze thermostat, throttling valves servo-motor, interior thermostat (optional), the medium cut-off valve servo-motor (optional). Also the cooperating air heater LEO FB or LEO KM FS and the roof-fans are connected to it. Due to this, its operation (with the use of an appropriate controller equipped with 0-10V signal input) is dependent on the heating apparatus operation and on the mixing chamber opening degree.

The continuous-operation servo-motor is controlled with a 0-10V analogue signal, with return spring, 
This opens or closes the LEO KM mixing chamber air throttling valves.
Due to the 0-10V signal input, it is possible to open the air throttling valves at any angle. It is connected to the power supply - controlling cubicle. The SP 0-10V servo-motor is mounted on the LEO KM mixing chamber mandrel.
