S-type control is an elementary control system allowing the control of basic functions of the heater. To control efficiency of the fan, 5-stage or stageless rotation speed controllers have been applied. For the heating medium flow control, there is an option to use two- or three-way valves with a servo-motor connected with interior thermostats.

SELECTION
Choose an “S" version device of the LEO family
- Select the amount of devices that is appropriate for the heating power demand of the building
- Additionally, choose the appropriate amount of mounting consoles for heater mounting at various angles (LEO FS has the console included)
Choose CONTROLS
- for LEO EX the automatics is to be chosen individually
Choose an appropriate interior thermostat
- The RD thermostat has a built-in programmable weekly calendar
Choose an appropriate fan rotational speed controller
- The control of fan rotational speed allows the adjustment of the amount of heat supplied into the room and reduces the noise generated
Choose the appropriate amount of valves that control the heating medium flow
- SRV2d / SRS – cuts off the heating medium flow to the heater or to the whole zone
- SRV3d – cuts off the heating medium flow to the heater or to the whole zone simultaneously redirecting it to the return pipe

The interior thermostat
If the temperature falls below the user-given level it turns the device / valve servo-motor on, and turns it off once the level is reached. Because the temperature sensor is one of its components, it should be mounted in a place inside the room to be heated that is not be exposed to external factors that can disturb temperature measurement, (e.g. solar radiation). The RA interior thermostat can control a max. of 2 LEO, FL, FS, FB devices or one LEO AGRO device. The RA interior thermostat can control a max. of 10 SRV2d, SRS or SRV3d valves.

The interior thermostat
This is used to keep the temperature at a programmed level. This makes it possible to set an hour-by-hour heat level for each day of the week. It allows the reduction of energy consumption costs because an appropriately programmed thermostat keeps the temperature at a comfortable level during operation hours. And out of operation hours a lower temperature can be maintained. The RD interior thermostat can control only one LEO family heater. The RD interior thermostat can control a max. of 10 SRV2d, SRS or SRV3d valves.

5-stage rotational speed control of the fan
The transformer of rotation speed controller allows a 5-stage fan capacity control. The adjusted voltage thresholds ensure optimal heater operation in each gear. The TR Controller controls only one LEO heater (FL or FB), whereas the TRd a maximum of two. Together with the RA or RD interior thermostat it makes the basic system of heater operation control.

An ON/OFF valve with a thermo-electric servo-motor, mounted at the point of water return from the heat exchanger. Allows the heating medium flow that feeds the heater to be cut off and simultaneously redirects the hot water stream directly to the medium return pipe. It cooperates with the RA, RD interior thermostat.
